A Patriot Day Sunset Remembrance will be held at the Arizona Heroes Memorial, 810 W.

Naranja Drive, on Sept.

The 30-minute ceremony is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend.

"We gather to honor the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families forever changed," OVPD said.

"We remember their courage, sacrifice, and the unity that followed one of America's darkest days."

The department emphasized that the ceremony serves as a commitment to ensuring the stories and sacrifices of that day are never forgotten.
