Oro Valley Voice welcomes specific, evidence-based reports of factual errors. Our goal is to correct the record clearly and promptly.
How to request a correction
Use our Contact page and include the article URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, the accurate information, and any supporting source or document. Requests concerning spelling, dates, quotations, attribution, statistics, captions, or material omissions are reviewed by the editorial team.
How corrections appear
Material factual changes are made in the article and accompanied by an editor’s note explaining what changed. Minor typographical, formatting, or grammatical fixes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a note. Updates that add new information are identified as updates rather than corrections.
Review and response
We evaluate the available evidence, consult original reporting materials when relevant, and contact involved parties when necessary. We do not remove accurate reporting solely because it is unfavorable. If a correction request is not supported by the evidence, the published record may remain unchanged.
Social and distributed content
When a material error appears in a newsletter or social post, we will make a reasonable effort to correct it in the same channel or direct readers to the corrected article.
