School Improvement Bond in Action: New Gym Coming to Twin Peaks K-8 this Year.
One of the most anticipated projects in Marana Unified School District is the construction of a long-awaited gymnasium at Twin Peaks K-8.
This state-of-the-art, multipurpose facility is scheduled to open this year (2026–27 school year).
Projects including the TPK8 gym are made possible through the voter-approved School Improvement Bond Proposition 491, which passed in 2022, along with other grants and local funding.
Features of the New Gymnasium Designed with flexibility and functionality in mind, the new gymnasium will serve as a central hub for athletics, PE, school events, and community gatherings.
Key features include: Seating for approximately 500 spectators A full-size basketball court Two volleyball courts A built-in stage for performances, assemblies, and presentations We thank the community for supporting Marana Schools, which truly makes a difference for our students, schools, and community.
