Tribute held in Oro Valley for POW/MIA service members.
A special tribute was held Friday in Oro Valley to honor the brave service members who never made it home.
The Oro Valley VFW and American Legion co-hosted the Prisoner of War, Missing in Action Recognition Event.
It was held at the Arizona Heroes Memorial at Naranja Park.
"They are either prisoners of war and still could be prisoners of war, that have never been given or their missing in action.
Or they may have died while they are in captivity and we have not received their remains."
