Noah Margo and Solomon Margo bring the music and family legacy of The Tokens to Gaslight Music Hall for a one-night Oro Valley performance.
The familiar harmonies behind one of pop music’s most recognizable songs are coming to Oro Valley. The current family-led lineup of The Tokens will perform at Gaslight Music Hall on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with the show beginning at 6 p.m.
The concert, billed as Rockin’ & Roarin’ with The Tokens, is built around the music associated with the celebrated vocal group. That includes “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” the recording that made The Tokens a household name and remains a staple of oldies radio, movies and family playlists more than six decades later.
A family-led continuation of The Tokens
This is not the original 1961 recording lineup. The current group is led by second- and third-generation members Noah Margo and his son, Solomon Margo. Noah is the son of original Tokens member Phil Margo.
According to the official Gaslight Music Hall event listing, Noah toured with an earlier Tokens lineup that included his father Phil and his uncle Mitch for more than 25 years. The current configuration has been performing since 2022, carrying the group’s songs and family history to a new generation of audiences.
The program also reaches into the wider recording and production legacy connected to members of The Tokens. Gaslight’s event description points to music associated with The Chiffons, The Happenings, and Tony Orlando and Dawn. Those connections include songs such as “One Fine Day,” “See You in September,” and “Knock Three Times.”

The Tokens’ Oro Valley appearance comes one night after a scheduled September 15 performance in Green Valley, making Southern Arizona one of the few stops currently listed on the group’s 2026 schedule.
